In November just after Kat’s birthday when we were both still off we went for a kayak down at Loch Ard. The temp in the car was reading -1/-2 for most of the drive down there and don’t recon it got much warm for the full day. However with the cold temps we had no wind and a little bit of sunshine a couple of times during the day.
After wrapping up and getting moving we were soon keeping warm and actually took a few things off. Absolutely stunning views and we felt very deserving of our pub lunch afterwards. Would choose that weather in a heartbeat over rain!
Amazing reflections on the Loch.
Everyone is a winner on a day like this.
Winter wonderland from the water.
Can easily see for this photo where the sun has hit and where is still in a cold hard frost.
Always find it really could to see the ice formed above the water.
