Have very much been out of the way of writing a blog regularly over the past few months so that is something that I need to start making into a habit again. It worked well for a few months having a routine that I stuck to with blogging twice a week so I am going to try and take that up again to get back into it. To ease myself back into it I am going to blog at least once a week and once at the weekend. Not necessarily have set days for the blogs to come out and then see how that goes. Might change it again after some time but just looking for a starting point again with it.
So this blog is about a wedding that we went to at the end of April of two of our really good friends Euan and Sarah. We were honoured to be invited and be apart of their day, it was a very small and close nit guest list so meant a lot that we were a part of that for them.
The wedding was held in Fort Augustus which isn’t somewhere that either of us had been before so that was great to get to explore another part of Scotland and it is a lovely little town.
The wedding took place on the loch side in front of the Abbey which was an amazing setting for it. Rather chilly on the day but it stayed dry which meant it could happen outside. Loved the Abbey and walking around it outside and in, very Hogwarts!
The wedding had a disney theme running through out it and both of them absolutely love disney and got engaged when they were in Orlando. Love seeing all the little details at a wedding, they can really make the day.
Euan and Sarah looked so happy through out the whole day which was just lovely to see and so deserving. They are a great couple and the special day for them very much reflected that.
Part of the day was a boat trip on Loch Ness which was a surprise to everyone and was very enjoyable. Defo making the day even more special and something that is very them.
It was a great day to be apart of and a enjoyable weekend. Also the first time that Kat and I had been away just the two of us in ages plus also as Mr and Mrs Berrie. Loved getting to spend the time with my beautiful wife.
A lovely part of Scotland and somewhere we would both like to visit again.
