On Tuesday I headed down to Largs to go visit my grandparents and on the way stopped off at Lunderston Bay, which is right across Cardwell Garden Centre. Somewhere I used to absolutely love as a wee kid at this time of year as I always wanted to go there and see the snoring santa display.
Went to the bay a couple of times towards the beginning of last year and did a blog each time about it. Was interesting having a look back at the photos and what I had written. Think it shows the change in headspace and also the improvement in my photography. If you want to check them out and let me know what you think here are the two links: Dark Skies And Choppy Waters and Sunshine.
Tuesday was an absolutely stunning day weather wise and really enjoyed the 45mins or so that I had there taking photos and watching Maia enjoy the beach.
Maia of course had a great time playing on the beach and in the sun, always good to have a permanent subject to take pictures of as well.
I was also enjoying taking photos with having the camera pretty much at ground level so getting a different angle.
