There is always going to be reasons in life for not being able to complete something at that particular attempt, especially when it comes to an outdoor pursuit. A walk, the top of the hill whatever it is will always be there to come back and do.
There has been a few of these over the past couple of years for me so it was great yesterday to be able to complete the Glen Loin loop. A few weeks ago I had done about half of it ( Half Of The Glen Loin Loop ) but of course wanted to come back and complete the whole of it. Both days were great and I wouldn’t change the fact that the first walk was only half of it, on that day at that time that is what was right.
Maia and I along with a couple of friends parked at Arrochar and headed off to do the loop. On a wee side note the parking charges have now changed at the car parks so they are £1 per hour rather than £1 for the day. We joked that even if one of us couldn’t make it back to the car park at least with three of us we increased the odds of getting back to not get a ticket. We went for 5 hours though were back in just over 4 hours.

A great day out with friends and happy now to have done the completely walked the loop.
