Last Sunday morning we got the chance to go out for our first paddle of the year at Loch Lomond. When first woke up weather didn’t look that great however we were going regardless and just ignored that and were right to do so as the weather just kept on getting better and better. Though it wasn’t for long it was a great morning out on the water.
My goal at the beginning of the year was to get out every month for a paddle however that hasn’t happen for a whole load of reasons. While it is good to make goals it is also important to be flexible about them and be able to re-adjust them. Having everything set in stone just doesn’t work for life so while it would have been great to have been able to get out on the water earlier than May I am happy that got out on Sunday and enjoyed the time.
Looks like a wonderful paddle. First ones of the season always are wonderful when the weather makes it special.
